When a horror trilogy becomes a horror quadrilogy and when it spans over 10 years you get Scream 4! Its a new decade with new rules AND a new cast of characters up for murder.

Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.

CWC- Writer, Comedian and Community Organizer Alex Kack

This episodes creator is a stand-up comedian and a stand up human. He co-produces a comedy show called Laughing Liberally. He is also a writer you can see his work on The Bull Moose Review Blog and he is organizer for  The Peoples  Defense Initiative here in Tucson AZ. His work includes the Tucson Families Free Together and is apart of the campaign to make Tucson a sanctuary city. But you might simply know him as Greenshirtguy Alex ... Welcome to the show.

Discussion

  • Tucson Families Free and Together

    • Sanctuary City would mean a place people no longer get asked to show papers or harassed about immigrant status in, Schools, Hospitals, work place and by the police,

    • The organization responsible for training local police teaches that it is okay to rely on unfounded racial stereotypes to determine whether a person might be undocumented. For example, a person may be assumed to be undocumented if they don’t speak English, if they dresses a certain way, or if they don’t have a place to live. In its current policy, Tucson fully embraces this problematic guidance, even though portions of it are likely unconstitutional. Sanctuary in Tucson would end this form of race-based policing. Sec. 17-83(h) & (i).

  • The Bullmoose Review

    • The Bull Moose Review publishes progressive opinion and discussion. We are not journalists nor do we make any claim to be an unbiased news source.

    • What you will find here is analysis of current events, political occurrences and history as well as social and cultural trends.

Keanu Reeves stated that the Wachowskis had him read Simulacra and Simulation, Out of Control, and Evolutionary Psychology even before they opened up the script, and eventually he was able to explain all the philosophical nuances involved. Carrie-Anne Moss commented that she had difficulty with this process.

On The Subject: Of Twin Movies: White House Down v Olympus Has Fallen

What happens when the OTS Crew pits two films against each other that are so similar you could call them twins? Lets find out has we get into our first ever Twin Movie Battle AKA It Takes Two!

This episode we are comparing two 2013 films about presidents and espionage, White House Down and Olympus has fallen.

Twin films are films with the same, or very similar, plot produced or released at the same time by two different film studios.[1] The phenomenon can result from two or more[2]production companies investing in similar scripts around the same time, resulting in a race to distribute the films to audiences.[3] Some attribute twin films to industrial espionage, the movement of staff between studios, or that the same screenplays are sent to several film studios before being accepted. Another possible explanation is if the films deal with topical issues, such as volcanic eruptions, reality television, terrorist attacks or significant anniversaries, resulting in multiple discovery of the concept.[3]

OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN

Disgraced Secret Service agent (and former presidential guard) Mike Banning finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, Banning works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.
